Evangelicals Flock to the Serial Hypocrisy of Newt Gingrich: “Selling Access”

HOUSTON, December 12

Ron Paul’s Presidential Campaign has just released a brand new web ad exposing the serial hypocrisy of corrupt former Speaker, Newt Gingrich entitled: Selling Access. You can watch it below.

WHAT JERRY THINKS

Gingrich is nothing more than a career politician. He profited from the housing collapse at the taxpayer’s expense. He has supported the Obamacare-style individual mandate for health insurance. He is a confirmed globalist as a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Now, news that evangelical Christians are flocking to support Newt Gingrich.

It has been interesting watching the evangelicals in 2011. First, the evangelicals supported Tea Party favorite, Michele Bachman, as the 2012 Presidential nominee.

Then, when Texas Gov. Rick Perry threw his hat into the ring, the evangelicals got excited and began backing his campaign.

Then, Godfather CEO, Herman Cain, captured the imagination of the evangelicals. However, after numerous allegations of infidelity, he became increasingly difficult to support.

So now, the evangelicals are turning to Mr. New World Order himself, Newt Gingrich.

Of course, Newt has some personal baggage, namely that he is on his third marriage. (Personally, the man’s private life is none of my business and I feel for him. After all, everyone makes mistakes.) However, I do find the recent evangelical support of the man to be highly bizarre — even schizophrenic. After all, how can evangelical voters, who claim that their main priority is the restoration of the traditional family, support Gingrich?

Have any ideas? Feel free to leave your comments in the box below.

Jerry- I completely agree with you about Gingrich. IMO, Pres.Gingrich may be just as bad or possibly even worse than Pres.Obama. And that's saying something! Gingrich is a globalist who wants to expand the Patriot Act and, unlike Ron Paul, wants the US to take our marching orders from the UN and NATO. He truly is a dangerous man and for the life of me I can't understand evangelical Christians who are supporting him. It boggles my mind.

Jerry…your promotion of Ron Paul is what is disturbing!!
Among other things wrong with Ron Paul, see recent commentary from Joel Rosenberg's website:
Rep. Ron Paul is in a league by himself — he merits an “F” on the Iran issue.
Paul would end all economic sanctions on Iran and work on building a “friendship” with the evil regime in Tehran.
Paul says he sees no problem in Iran having nuclear weapons.
Paul says there is “no concrete evidence” that Iran is building nuclear weapons and opposes using military action to stop Iran from getting the Bomb.
What’s more, Paul says he would cut U.S. military aid to Israel.
As an evangelical voter, Paul is not ever going to get my vote!

Did you know JR, that the US gives far more foreign aid to Israel's enemies than to Israel? So it will actually HELP Israel if we discontinue all foreign aid. Plus the US is broke, JR. And what does the US do after we give foreign aid to Israel? We lord it over them and tell them where they can and cannot build. Tell them they can't build fences/walls to defend themselves etc. etc. If you do a little study, you will find out that Ron Paul is the most pro-Israel presidential candidate we have. Even prime Minister Netanyahu agrees with Paul! This is why I get so frustrated with the media because they have painted RP out to be someone he is not and most people have not done their homework. Jerry is right on with his support of RP.

I have to say, this is the most bizarre election I have ever seen!  Not only do I believe I won't ever have enough time (even though I've watched every debate, listened to many prognosticators, and read multitudes of commentaries) to come to an intellectual decision; but the way candidates are dropping in and out and changing their beliefs…..I CAN'T KEEP UP.  My only hope and prayer is that my 'unchanging','always there' God will guide me!!

I am a very conservative Christian in the Bible Belt of East Texas. As a Christian I have to forgive Newt.  He has told us he has ask forgiveness and we must forgive.  I have listened to all the debates and my heart tells me if anyone can pull our country out of the mess we are in Newt could do it.  I know he has a lot baggage but I believe he loves our country and has the experience we need in a President.  Newt will soar when he comes face to face with Obama because he has so much knowledge.

Additionally from Joel Rosenberg on Ron Paul (and Tim, I think Rosenberg would know Paul's true stance on matters pertaining to Iran and Israel better than what you and others may believe it is).

The latest poll out of Iowa shows Texas Congressman Ron Paul in the lead. This is troubling at many levels. Rep. Paul deserves credit for advocating sound money, a serious review of the Fed, and dramatically reduced federal spending. But as I’ve written before [and recently updated], Paul would be a terrible Commander-in-Chief and gets an “F” when it comes his Iran policy. Paul doesn’t understand the nuclear threat posed by the radical regime in Iran. He doesn’t understand the supremacy of martyrdom in the Iranian leadership’s value system. He doesn’t understand the genocidal, apocalyptic nature of Shia End Times theology. In fact, Paul takes an appeasement approach towards Iran. What’s more, he would severely slash military funding, zero out U.S. support for Israel, and take us into an isolationist foreign policy, even as the threat from Radical Islam worsens. Will GOP voters follow this disastrous approach? I pray not.

Consider this illuminating exchange between Fox News anchor Bret Baier and Rep. Paul where Paul happily concedes that if he were to win the GOP nomination, he would be “to the left of President Obama” on the Iran issue.  See http://flashtrafficblog.wordpress.com/

Ron Paul, Rick Santorum Clash Over Iran

http://video.foxnews.com/v/1330316327001/ron-paul-rick-santorum-clash-over-iran/  Worth watching as both of these GOP candidates profess to being evangelical Christians.

This is classic Ron Paul in contrast!  This is not what the liberal press is saying about him – hear it from his own mouth.  I for one would not feel safe with RP as our President.
